Zoro Nature Park

Zoro Nature Park Was founded by Alois Knapp in 1933 in the U.S. state of Indians just west of Roselawn Indiana. The name was originally Club Zoro but was later changed. Zoro became a popular sun club after the second World War, as returning veterans with new perspectives on social nudity brought their families to the park.

Popularity grows

By the 1950s, the park grew in popularity to be one of the nations top clubs. It boasted many amenities and facilities including an airplane landing strip. After many years of successful operation the Knapps decided to sell Zoro and retire. The subsequent owners were not as in tune with naturist values as the founder.

Later years

In subsequent years, parts of Zoro was destroyed and the park lay dormant for ten years. It was later reopened as Sun Aura but never returned to the popularity of its heyday. 1ALOIS KNAPP Nudist Clubhouse web Archive
