Treehouse Fun Ranch

In the 1970s Bill and Fran Flesher bought Oakdale Ranch. The couple read an article in Time magazine about the struggles of Oakdale Ranch. They sold their home and closed on the property in 1972. After six months of renovation the Fleshers their children and 500 guests reopened the newly renamed Treehouse Fun Ranch. The Treehouse continued to have relative success through the 1980s. They hosted several events including nudist pageants, nude chili and spaghetti contests nude skydiving and western stunt shows. They developed a true ranch atmosphere with farm animals. Ranch membership was opened to families with children. At one point up to 150 residents were members at the Treehouse Fun Ranch

The ranch continued to operate successfully for the next decade, the Flesher children grew from children to adults. Bill’s health deteriorated over time. After his death the children decided to sell the property.
