Usage
A naturist resort, also known as a nudist resort, is an establishment that provides accommodation and other amenities for guests where they practice naturism. A naturist resort provides a variety of levels of accommodations, amenities and activities typically comparable to a hotel.
Some naturists resorts are clothing optional with the exception of the pool and hot tub facilities. Naturist resort tend to be more upscale than nudist camp venues featuring more amenities, and a broader range of facilities like restaurants, fitness centers etc. In the past many of these naturist spaces were called called nudist colonies. That term is now considered derogatory and outdated.

Naturist resorts typically have a variety of amenities, including swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, restaurants, bars, and shops. Some resorts also offer activities such as hiking, biking, yoga, and volleyball.

Most naturist resorts are typically family-friendly, but some do cater to specific groups like adults-only, couples-only or gay-friendly designated resorts.
