The English Gymnosophical Society was established in 1922 by Harold Clare Booth, Mark Harold Sorensen and Rex Wellbye. Booth published many articles about naturism. The English Gymnosophical Society was a group of like minded British individuals who gathered to a practice naturism based on those articles. 1English Gymnosophical Society They were part of a select group that were members of the Moonella Camp the first naturist venue in Britain. The group was later renamed to the New Gymnosophy Society 2English Gymnosophical Society
