EcoNaturism Or Ecological Naturism, is a type of naturism that seeks to focus on the environmental element of the classic definition of  naturism “living in harmony with nature”. Econaturism is a lifestyle that combines the principles of environmentalism and naturism. Econaturists believe that it is possible to live in harmony with nature while also being comfortable in their own skin. They sometimes live in small, sustainable communities and practice sustainable agriculture. Econaturists tend to be very active in environmental activism.

The earliest expression of modern naturism was deeply connected to the idea of getting back to nature as a relief ofrom the urbanization of European cities. Participants in the Lebensreform or life reform movement throughout Europe adopted ecologically friendly practices in addition to social nudity.
