Auchmoody Out-of-Doors Club

The Auchmoody Out-of-Doors Club (or Fresh Air Club) was founded and operated by nudist pioneer Jan Gay. It was operated on a Hudson Valley New York property, now a stately New York mansion, was put on the market in 2021 for $20 million. Located on a private lake the club and property were profiled Auchmoody Out-of-Doors Club was also profiled in “Nekkid”; in the July 8, 1933 issue of The New Yorker magazine on page 6. 1 Naturist Vintage

The club property was also featured prominently in two of Gay’s works. Her book  On Going Naked and film This Nude World (This Naked Age)
