How to use naturism wiki location maps

Introduction

The naturism wiki location map is a community driven  interactive naturist wiki location map. Because naturism promotes connecting to nature the naturism wiki location maps attempts to map all the natural naturist locations around the world. Beaches, hot springs, swimming holes and wild swimming locales. This is a free service to help naturists and those with an interest in naturism to find places in nature to practice the way of life. It is not for just showing natourist spots.

How to use naturism wiki location map

The locations maps have markers (pins) that display naturist locations around the world. Clicking on a location marker will pop up a small window with access to additional information about the location. The more information link in this leads to a location with any additional details that are available for the location and a location specific map. There are several search bars to assist in finding a location on a map. Maps can be viewed at full screen so you can use all your screen space to find a location. Maps also have regions to help users quickly expand or limit the geographical area displayed on a map. (ex. Europe)

Finding a location

Keyword

To find a location you can search by keyword (ex. beaches) using the search bar at the top of the map screen. Try it now. The markers on the map will automatically adjust to display the results of your search. The default is the works map but categories can be filtered by region by choosing a region from the sidebar on the left of the map. Another way to filter the locations displayed is to check or uncheck the category in the filter in the lower right corner of the map. This filter can be minimized by clicking the X to close. It is a good practice to start from the world map when searching locations.

Address

The naturism wiki location maps also features search by address. This feature also a user to find an exact address on the map. This is perfect for adding a location to the map if you already know the the address. A bonus of this feature is once the location is found you can grant permission to use your current location to map a route to address entered. (Note explicit permission must be provided to use this feature. It is never used without consent.)

Name

If a user knows the name of a naturist location but doesn’t know exactly where it is located the naturism wiki location map can help there as well. Using the location search bar a user can find any location in our map database by name, even if there isn’t a location already. This is another user way to find and add locations.

Adding a location

Do you know a naturist beach that is not on the map? Any user can add a location. Adding locations is easy! Just click on the map to drop a pin or type in an address to find the exact spot you’re looking for. It’s easy for anyone to pinpoint a favorite naturist location, making our naturism wiki location map more interactive and useful for other naturists. Another way to add a location is by clicking the + Icon. This will open a form where you can enter some location details or drop a pin by clicking a spot on the map and hit submit.
When adding a location provide as many details as possible to help other users. You may add up to 5 images as well as link to YouTube videos and audio descriptions of the location. All locations submitted need to be approved before they are visible on the map. You can support and crowdsource the naturism wiki location map by adding your knowledge of naturist locations.
