‘Diary of a Nudist’ is a 1961 nudist exploitation film directed by Doris Wishman. The film stars Davee Decker as Stacy Taylor, a reporter sent by her boss, Arthur Sherwood (Norman Casserly), to write an exposé on a nudist camp that Arthur stumbled upon during a hunting trip. While at the club, Stacy falls in love with naturism and chooses to write a positive report instead.
Also appearing in the film are Dolores Carlos (a regular in 1960s nudist films), Maria & Harry Stinger, Joan Bamford (who also starred in Doris’ ‘Gentlemen Prefer Nature Girls’), Una Diehl, June Marko and Zelda Suplee (who ran one of the naturist camps used for filming).
Rosemary June also performs the theme “Sun Lover’s Blues”, as written for the film by Doris’ niece Judith Kushner.
