Working naked in a public job is a dangerous proposition, unless you are your own boss. Working naked when from home is something almost anyone can try. Many naturist and even some people who don’t describe themselves as naturist are choosing to work at home without clothes. Working without clothes is anecdotally suggested to increase productivity for some people.
British Naturism the U.K. naturist organization has been promoting work naked Wednesday as an option for naturists and non naturists to be more comfortable in their skin while on stay at home.
We want to do our part to promote a safe, enjoyable stay at home naturist experience that lets everyone feel the freedom. Here are our tips for a great work naked Wednesday.
Give notice – Let family and loved ones and anyone who may live with know what you are planning. Avoid any surprises that would make what should be a stress free situation more anxious. You never know they might think it is a great idea and do the same.
grab towel – naturist etiquette and hygienic practice always uses a towel as a barrier between your bum and where you sit. Even it you are at home and comfortable in your own home you should do the same. No need to risk skid marks on your sofa or favorite chair. If you live with others consider the next person to sit down where you did.
draw the curtains/close the blinds – If you live anywhere outside the U.K. this is a wise thing to do. A nosy neighbors or passenger by on the street catching a view of you clothes free could cause unwanted and unnecessary legal issues. We would want your stay at home work at home to turn into a stay at home job hunt.
dress for video calls – be sure to dress completely for all work related video calls. It’s easy enough to pul on a shirt and slip on some slacks. Set yourself a remind if you tend to get too comfortable and forget you aren’t wearing anything. That will eliminate the possibility of a clothes free mishap that may put you in the ranks of the unemployed.
keep clothing by the door – Whether you are getting documents couriered from your office or receiving a
shopping delivery it’s best to do it clothed. Greeting the pizza delivery person, your nosy neighbor or accepting you grocery or restaurant drop off naked isn’t respectful. One of the basic tenets of naturism is respect for others. Until it has been previously agreed, keep a pair of short and shirt to slip on and off quickly for your delivery.
make the most of it – If clothes free living is new for you or you tend to be a natourist don’t stop with the workday. Cook your meals clothes free. Stay clothes free after your shower (naturist laundry) and sleep naked. You may not have this much naked stay at home time again so make it count. Feel the freedom and share the feeling.
